Kim Janssen has recently (1 month ago) brought out his second album. It is inspired by the years he lived on boarding school in Asia.
“Ancient Crime’ is a concept album that takes place in an old idyllic school, in a remote village in north-west England during the winter. A mixture of history, myth, memories, old and new verses and arrangements.”
The album is a warm and soothing experience to listen to. Lots of dynamics and emotions, beautiful harmonies and a LOT of different instruments and sounds. A great album for many different moments; while almost sleeping in bed (as I’m doing right now), sitting on the couch with a glass of red wine and no one around just music, just be sure you take the time to listen to ‘Ancient Crime’ and the moment will be good.
